The Gotch family extends a warm welcome to all visitors here at “Enola”, home of Willandra Limousin stud.

Our Stud was established in 1999. We have 20 registered Females of which 80% are black. We concentrate on breeding polled cattle and are also running 150 Angus females. In our Commercial operation, we cross with these females with our black poll bulls to produce Limflex progeny.

We currently have a flush program in place. This will help reach our breeding target to 60 over the coming years. The cattle are managed here at Enola and our original property Willandra at Sally’s Flat.

We have had success at Regional and Royal Shows as well as National Show and Sale level. We have bred a Family Line “Willandra Your Kids Dream” which was Junior Champion Female at the Sydney Royal in 2005 and 2007.

We have the pleasure of owning “Yarra Yarra Polled Atlas” who was the Senior Champion, Grand Champion and Supreme Limousin Exhibit at the 2007 Sydney Royal Show. Atlas is black and Homozygous Polled.

We have bred and sold the top selling bull at the Limousin Nationals in 2007 who was purchased by ‘Premier Limousins’. The following year we also received top price Junior Female from the “Your Kids Dream” family. We have bred and sold bulls to $10,000, ‘Willandra Cinderella Man” to ‘Longreach Limousins’ for a half share interest.

We aim to breed a new modern type of Limousin Cattle, moderate framed, deep ribbed, soft cattle with the ability to lay down cover. Docility is paramount with a strict docility scoring process at weaning. All our cattle have EBV’s.

On display will be bulls entered for the 2010 Limousin National Show and Sale, a young crop of yearling ET calves (Willandra Your Kids Dream Y002 X Yarra Yarra Polled Atlas), our donor females, stud sires and the breeding cows and calves.
